DESIGN COMMUNICATION

PROJECT 1A
A first-hand conscious experience is important in the understanding and articulation of space. This assessment introduced students to visualization and expression of space through on-site sketching activity on campus.
Through out this assignment, i have learn much on perspective drawing skill. This can also develop skills in visualizing of space through observation from site. Besides that, my sketching and rendering skill had also improved.

PROJECT 1B
This exercise is designed to build upon the previous assignmet; in developing one's skills in creating depth and tone in a sketch, and thus refining and enhancing the ability to produce an architectural sketch that is legible.
Through this assignment we can learn to draw a ligeble architecture sketches and develop skills in communicating the above in various tonal and depth values. Besides, I have also got to know various techniques of hatching and rendering through 4 there requirements.

Project 2A
“A means of representing a three-dimensional object in two dimensions along with drawing that communicates the shape and size of an object through a series of related two-dimensional views” - Edwin Chomen
Line weight is really important in the project. I am glad that I had this opportunity to take part in this project. I learnt alot after complete this project.

Project 2B
Axonometric drawing is an excellent method of communicating and expressing an architectural idea – be it as a diagram at a fairly early stage of the design process (ie. conceptual expression) or as a presentation aid upon finalization of your design.
Axonometric drawings are a visually instigating and exciting way of expressing an idea clearly with minimal words if executed well.
Axonometric drawing have alot of way to explore and explain clearly the details of a building with minimal words. From this assignment, I have learn the ability to produce a ligible architecture axonometric and the way to generate it from the start to the end.

Project 2C | PERSPECTIVES
This assessment introduces perspective as a mode of communication in architecture. One exterior perspective (two-point) and one sectional perspective (one-point) are required to construct to complete this project.
Learning outcomes
1. Ability to express spatial ideas and architectural detail in three-dimension, in the format of one-point and two-point perspectives.
2. Understanding of what perspectives.
3. Ability to produce legible architectural drawings with strong creative intent.
In this assignment , I have learn the ability to express the architecture detail in three dimension, in the format of one point perspective and two point perspective drawing. Besides, i have also understood the way to bring out the space and explaining the feeling in this space by both of this perspective drawing.

Project 3 | PORTFOLIO
In this project, students are required to prove their ability by creating a highly legible board (a set of panels that can speak and present for themsleves without an oral presentation.
The quality of our portfolio is really important and the layout cannot be neglect too. It should be easy to understand. Portfolio is like a summary of every project that we had done.
